The Best Cranberry Chutney

So Good – you must make this if you love cranberry with your turkey!!

In a medium sauce pan combine & bring to an easy boil

1/2 cup water
2 cups fresh cranberries
1/4 cup raisins
1 small yellow onion, diced
1/2 cup celery, finely diced
1 small peeled apple, diced
2 cups brown sugar 
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp. freshly grated ginger

turn down and simmer for an additional 15 minutes over medium low heat, stirring occasionally, until all ingredients soften

Cool to room temperature and refrigerate until ready to use or up to one week.

Once ready:
gather your loved ones,
give thanks,
carve the turkey,
pile the plate,
scoop the chutney,
enjoy!
